The Imperial Berkey Water Filter The versatile Imperial Berkey
water filter is the ideal system for use with small to medium sized groups,
at home, churches, hospitals orphanages, for outdoor activities or
during unexpected emergencies.
This
powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water
from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water
supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at
best. Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile
environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not
be available.
This system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts
harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic
solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also reduces nitrates,
nitrites and unhealthy minerals such as lead and mercury. These Berkley water filters are so powerful it can remove food coloring from water without removing
the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can

"Originally, I had wanted the big berkey system. This was out of stock, so I was going to purchase the larger royal berkey. I apparently didn't make my decision fast enough and they went out of stock the day I was going to purchase. I decided to just go ahead and get the imperial system with some reservations as to it's size. I figured that I could always return it. However, I'm pleased to say that this system has worked out just fine. It's not as big as I thought and I'm putting the extra capacity towards my cooking. The water tastes clean and fresh (no chlorine taste finally! :)), and if the filters last as long as they say they do, then I'll be even happier."
