"Originally, I had wanted the big berkey system. This was out of stock, so I was going to purchase the larger royal berkey. I apparently didn't make my decision fast enough and they went out of stock the day I was going to purchase. I decided to just go ahead and get the imperial system with some reservations as to it's size. I figured that I could always return it. However, I'm pleased to say that this system has worked out just fine. It's not as big as I thought and I'm putting the extra capacity towards my cooking. The water tastes clean and fresh (no chlorine taste finally! :)), and if the filters last as long as they say they do, then I'll be even happier."
