More About The Imperial Berkey
This system was primarily designed with large families and small groups in mind. With the included Black Berkey filters, this powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.
This system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also reduces nitrates, nitrites and heavy metals such as lead and mercury. This system is so powerful it can remove food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.

no crown, no bueno Review by Mona
I got tired of waiting for the crown to be in stock so I got the imperial with 6 black filters. I still wish I had the crown, but after getting it, I realize that this is more than sufficient for my friends and family. (Posted on 8/15/13)
The tests don't lie! So happy! Review by Cherie
I love my Imperial. I have 2 black filters and 2 floride/ arsenic filters installed. I use it for drinking water for 2 people, cooking, washing fruits and veggies, dog and cat drinking water, watering my house plants. The water tastes so good, and I seem to be drinking more water than usual. I refill every 2 to 3 days which is perfect. My son was skeptic, so I purchased several water test and just ran them. My results were: Floride 0. Clorine 0. PH 8. Hardness 250 ppm. Bacteria and E-Coli 0. Nitrate 2.0 ppm. The cat knocked over the lead and pesticides test, so I will have to do that test at a later date. I live in farming country and we have terrible hard water and higher nitrate levels so all in all I think these are great readings. Thank you Berkey! (Posted on 5/28/13)
water freedom Review by Sofia Kane
So happy I got this. I did days of research before I made this purchase since these are not cheap, and I'm not rich. Took like 15 minutes to get set up but it was straightforward and I was putting it to use right away. I think the water tastes so good. Thank you berkey! (Posted on 4/9/13)
Justified Prepper purchase Review by Resa
Love my Berkey. I justified the cost by using it everyday instead of buying bottled water. Smart investment if I do say so myself. (Posted on 2/28/13)

Survival Prepping Review by Adam L
Been a prepper for years and wanted a larger berkey as part of my inventory. I refuse to use my card online and instead called in my order. I spoke with Jennie and she was very sweet and helpful. (Posted on 1/19/12)
Shouldn't have to wait 6 months Review by jeremy clay
I've been on the waiting list for 6 months for the system and I finally got it today. I'm excited that it's finally in my hands and so far I'm happy, however with that being said, I should have not had to wait 6 months until they were back in stock. I understand demand for these are high and many were going to relief organizations, but they should of had made more of these larger unirs faster given what's going on in the world. Happy I Made The Purchase Review by Roberta Parker
Originally, I had wanted the big berkey system. This was out of stock, so I was going to purchase the larger royal berkey. I apparently didn't make my decision fast enough and they went out of stock the day I was going to purchase. I decided to just go ahead and get the imperial system with some reservations as to it's size. I figured that I could always return it. However, I'm pleased to say that this system has worked out just fine. It's not as big as I thought and I'm putting the extra capacity towards my cooking. The water tastes clean and fresh (no chlorine taste finally! :)), and if the filters last as long as they say they do, then I'll be even happier. (Posted on 1/26/10)
