Standard Spigot Questions
Will it fit my Berkey?
Yes. It fits the Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial and Crown Berkey and the Berkey Light. The Go Berkey Kit has no spigot.
What's included?
One standard spigot, two washers and a wing nut.
Is this the same spigot that came with my system?
Yes. Every new Berkey system ships with this standard spigot.
Is it BPA free?
Yes. The standard spigot is made from BPA-free plastic.
Should I upgrade instead?
If you want a stainless look, the Stainless Steel Spigot fits the same hole. If you also want to see your water level, choose the Stainless Steel Water View Spigot. Both fit stainless systems only.
Why is my spigot dripping?
Check that a washer sits on each side of the chamber wall and the wing nut is snug. If the drip comes from the lever itself, the spigot is worn and should be replaced.
