Purpose: Primary filtration for 200+ contaminants

Location: Lower Chamber (attaches to Phoenix elements)

Purpose: Specialized fluoride and arsenic reduction

  • Targets fluoride (difficult to remove with carbon)
  • Reduces arsenic levels
  • Works in tandem with Phoenix elements
  • 1,000 gallon capacity per set of 2
  • Screw directly onto Phoenix element bases

How They Work Together

🔄 Two-Stage Filtration Process

The Phoenix filter elements and PF-2 filters create a comprehensive two-stage filtration system that removes a broader range of contaminants than either filter type alone.

  1. Stage 1 - Upper Chamber: Water passes through Phoenix filter elements, removing 200+ contaminants including PFAS, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
  2. Stage 2 - Lower Chamber: Filtered water then passes through PF-2 filters (attached to the bottom of Phoenix elements), removing fluoride and arsenic that standard carbon filtration cannot address.
  3. Result: Crystal clear, thoroughly filtered water free from virtually all harmful contaminants—the most complete filtration available in a gravity system.
