Simple Installation

Installation Steps

  • Remove the existing standard spigot from your Berkey lower chamber
  • Insert the sight glass spigot washer and nut from inside the chamber
  • Screw the sight glass spigot assembly into the lower chamber opening
  • Hand-tighten the nut from inside until secure (do not overtighten)
  • Fill your system and verify there are no leaks
💡 Pro Tip:

Position the glass tube toward the front of your system for easy viewing. Clean the glass tube during your regular Berkey system maintenance.
