Tap Water, What Are You Really Drinking?

Tap Water, What Are You Really Drinking?

By Dan DeBaun

In February, we reported on an analysis of tap water contaminants in the United States and why we believe many folks should consider filtering their drinking water if they do not already. InfographicWorld has put that information into a visual format along with some of the engineering of water filtration and a cost comparison of some of Big Berkey's competitors. Berkey Water Filters Outperform for Less

It's a fun graphic but too bad the Berkey didn't make the chart. Fortunately we have constructed two similar Berkey comparison charts; one against other gravity filters and the other vs popular household filtration companies. New testing confirms that the black berkey filters are a top water filtration performer and the cost blows the others right out of the 'water' at only 1.7 cents per gallon.

It is sad to see that so many states are being provided poor quality of water. This is something which requires attention from the governments of the states and they should do something about it.
